COMMON ERRORS

COMMON ERRORS TO WATCH FOR

1. Picking up cards before paying or taking.

2. Casino gazing

3. Giving double down card before additional money was put in betting circle.

4. Not signifying pushes

5. Puts change in circle, or hand off change to player hand.

6. Turning away from the game with cards in play.

7. Not being able to back up cards. Or not calling a floor-person over, when backing up cards.

8. Paying off backwards one hand against another when a player plays two hands, or splits.

9. Failure to check bets close to the table maximum, or knowing table limits.

10. Errors in toke bets on limit bets.

11. Not sizing into bets and tossing single units.

12. Not checking or proving bets.

13. Not announcing color changes to floor-person.

14. Not walking the game.

15. Extensive talking on the games to the point of interfering with game security.

16. Not being alert to player calling “even money”.

17. Not spreading cards properly.

18. Make sure player signals for a hit. Dealer is not playing the hand.

19. Pays Blackjack out of order.

20. Not indicating pushes at all.

21. Puts change in circle.

22. Not being able to back up the cards.

23. Flashing the hole card.

24. Dealing to money to outside the circle.

25. Not calling out change and getting an approval from floor-person.

26. Failure to check limits bets by cutting them down to make sure it doesn’t exceed limit.
