GAME PROTECTION

BE AWARE

  1. Make sure the dealer is following the player’s directions and not “leading “ the player.
  2. Be alert to the general accuracy of the dealer. Learn your dealer’s habits
  3. Be alert to the players who seem to know each other off the game but not on the game.
  4. Be aware of the player or dealer who is always looking around.
  5. If you suspect anything, notify your Pit manager.
  6. Be aware of the people standing outside the games.
  7. Be aware of the player who seems to win all the time.
  8. Be aware of the loud or drunk players.
  9. Be aware of the dealer dealing out of sequence or picking up the cards in the wrong order.
  10. Be very aware of the dealer who “forgets” to call “shuffle” or begins a procedure prior authorization.
  11. Do not be lulled into the false security of a “dead “ or a low limit game.
  12. Develop roving eyes. Always watch your entire section.
  13. Determine by observation, the betting systems of your players.
  14. Listen while watching the game, listen to the transactions on other games.
  15. Avoid the appearance of being tied up on a game whether settling a dispute, making a fill, or writing a marker.
  16. Never ignore other tables.
  17. When there is a distraction on a table, be aware of the other games.
