ABOUT CULINARY ARTS EDUCATION

Today, more than ever, cooking has become one of the largest, strongest, industries. With proper culinary classes and a certificate, you can work anywhere you want: cruise ships, hotels, restaurants - the demand for good chefs is everywhere. And with the popularity of cooking shows on television, everyone wants to be a chef.

Becoming a chef involves proper training and having the right attitude. If chefs are very positive in this industry, they will succeed and go to the top. You must be willing to learn to be a part of a team, in order to succeed in professional kitchens.

By going to a good culinary arts school, you will learn not only how to prepare foods but how to present them beautifully. Sharpening your talent for presentations of delicious meals will make you more marketable to the chefs in the industry.

Here at National Culinary School, we offer serious students an intense culinary curriculum with in-school job experience. Upon graduation, students receive a certificate of completion and job placement assistance. Our convenient central San Diego location offers students easy access to the culinary school.

Our small culinary class sizes (no more than 10 students) set us apart from other culinary schools and provide lots of hands on training and interaction with the instructor. Students are invited to ask questions and make comments about each lesson and individuals are offered encouragement and given personal attention.

With this kind of culinary education, each student can work at a faster pace while gaining all the same knowledge that they would in another school's one-year program, and for a fraction of the cost.

Our chefs share their extensive knowledge of food preparation using excellent instructional techniques and care about our students and their success.

At National Culinary School, students are invited to ask questions and make comments about each lesson, and individuals are offered encouragement and given personal attention.

The skills you gain at National Culinary School will steer you toward a successful Culinary Career, be it in a restaurant or even your own business. We offer morning and evening culinary classes, and classes are available now. Baking and Pastry Arts instruction is also offered.
